As our Legal and Compliance Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements while supporting a positive and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Health and Safety:
- Ensure Compliance: Collaborate with the Citation service to guarantee safe operations both in-house and onsite.
- Communication: Work closely with staff to communicate safety procedures and ensure compliance across the board.
- Document Production: Create essential safety documents such as Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
- Training Oversight: Ensure all employees have the necessary qualifications and training.
- Fire Safety Management: Oversee and implement fire safety protocols.
ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards:
- Consultant Coordination: Work with external consultants to meet ISO 9001 requirements and aim for ISO 14001 accreditation.
- Standard Compliance: Lead efforts to maintain compliance with ISO standards, ensuring continuous improvement.
Accreditations:
- Maintain Certifications: Keep vital accreditations such as Safe Contractor, SMAS, CHAS, and Constructionline up to date.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage necessary accreditation documents.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Insurance Management: Oversee commercial combined and fleet vehicle insurance policies.
- Fleet Management: Ensure all company vehicles are properly maintained, taxed, and MOT compliant.
- General Support: Assist with other office duties as needed to support the team.

Experience & Skills Required:
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of current health and safety legislation.
- Document Production: Experience in creating RAMS and other safety-related documents.
- ISO Standards: Previous experience with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
- IT Proficiency: Competent in using Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel.
